Hello again
The weather is great. I am still able to wear shorts. But I am getting lots of looks. Most people are wearing their winter gear. I wonder what they are going to do when it is actually cold outside.
I am dry and warm. That is all I need to keep wearing shorts. Yes I am crazy.
Mom was looking good today. A big smile on her face whens she saw me. I mad her another nice dinner. Shrimp and cheese omelet and left over stuffing. There is still stuffing.
We wrapped up dinner in the usual way. Fruit. And took care of the dishes. We finished early. As I started to feed her early. So by the time they brought the tray, mom was already onto dessert.
This mean't I had a chance to read to her tonight. Which we got through five pages before the care aid came into put mom to bed.
Mom was really enjoying the music tonight. Relaxed, and comfortable.
After mom was in bed, which was really early, and the spa treatment was complete. She was a little anxious. I forgot, that she wanted her ears cleaned. But it is to difficult to do this when she is in bed. I need to do this, while in her chair. Before she is put into bed.
I said that I won't forget, and I will do this tomorrow. Which I will.
I gave her some more to drink and waited for the nurse to come in and give mom her nightly medicine. After this, I needed to give mom some more to drink. To wash the medicine taste away. Then it was time for mom to sleep. So I thought. Mom was restless. I thought she wanted me to leave so she could sleep. I asked her and she said no. So I stayed latter and caught the 8:30 pm bus. This gets me home after 11 pm. It is OK.
No laundry to do. OK there is some, but I was not going to do this tonight. Just tried. And I thought this morning, that when I get home, I would just download what I wanted to watch and go to bed right away.
Not a chance. Maybe, one day, when I finally move to White Rock , I will be able to get to bed before 3 am.
So mom was fully asleep when I left this evening.
