Hello again
Another beautiful day today. Bright and sunny. Not as it is to be for the rest of the week. Oh well.
I just love the huge smile that comes upon mom's face when she see's me walk in. Reaches for my hand. And as soon as she does grab my hand, I feel this amazing relaxation come upon her.
I just brought mom this really healthy sandwich, plus some pork and beans. This she really enjoys.
And as soon as dinner was finished mom was now ready for bed. Did the dishes and got mom changed. Sat down to read to her and the care aid came in.
Now mom was ready to sleep. I finished her spa treatment and mom was done for the night. Again I quickly did this spa treatment.
Mom just grabbed my hand and squeezed it hard, and wouldn't let it go. I was totally OK with this. I just packed up and held her hand again.
She didn't want anything else to drink. Just to sleep. I had to window open for a while, to get some fresh air in her room. Mom really liked this.
I am just waiting for a place to come up for me to move to. It is very difficult, this 7 hours a day of traveling.
Especially since I am injured and just hurt all the time. I carry so much back and forth. And need to do this. I don't mind doing this. But not this distance. I will continue.
Mom is worth it. I can't get her a fridge, their rules, I do have the directors number which was given to me by the manger. Need to speak with her.
Well nothing more for me to say. Oh I do have a lot to say, but I need to go to bed and get some rest. I wake up every two hours. 4 am 6 am and then I get up by 10 am. That is my night. I am always extremely tired.
