Hello again
OK, very nice day. But mom was extremely tired when I arrived today. The TV is really starting to get to mom. And of course the manager was not in today or all week, for me to address this situation. Since it has been over a month since I brought it up.
And of course nothing. Maybe I have to get off of my lazy bottom and write the complaint department.
Mom was leaning over, head down. Not good. I got her drinks in her as quick, and fed her dinner. A nice chicken wrap. But because she was so tired, it was hard for her to chew. So Mom ate the served, beef dinner.. Which she ate all of it. Then I quickly changed her for bed. And sat with her, while we waited for the care aid to come in. Mom fell asleep, while holding my hand, waiting for the care aid to come in to put her to bed.
At which point I went and did the dishes. And made more tea. When I got back to the room. Mom was falling asleep again. Before I had a chance to give her the nightly spa treatment. But she wasn't going not have it done. I asked and she smiled and nodded yes. I knew she would. Even if mom is falling asleep. She still wants to have me give her the nightly spa treatment.
And when I was done. So was she. I mean she was asleep. I just packed up and held her hand for a bit. I sang our good night song to her. Still asleep, but she did smile as I kissed her good night.
It is going to be very hot this weekend here in the lower mainland. 30 plus, in some places. To hot for us. We like it when it is no more than 26 or 27.
I get to get some more colour than.
I will take mom out. Cover her in sun screen, put a hat on her, plus sun glasses. And off we go.
It will be later in the afternoon that I do this. Not during the hot peak.
I am hungry, and need to eat my dinner.
