Hello again
So mom still has a cold, but I brought her chicken soup and a omelet today for dinner. She ate most of the soup plus half the omelet. And of course some of the beef that was part of her served dinner. Then she was full, only ate part of her papaya and two out of three of her lindt chocolates. Usually she will eat all three of the lindt.
At this point she was falling asleep. I just lowered her bed and put her head back, while I folded the dirty laundry, to put in a bag, to bring back to wash.
I started her spa treatment. Mom wanted the full deal. So this is what she got. I was only able to do her legs before the care aid came in to change her. This was good, as I needed to go and do the dishes. I know mom likes it when I stay and help the care aid, but this takes time away from her, if I have to go afterwards to wash the dishes.
And it wasn't long after I finished her spa treatment that mom was ready to sleep for the night. I needed to go and hunt down the nurse to give mom her nightly medication, so I could give her something to drink, to wash down the medications and do a touch up on her lotions on her face.
I just packed up quickly, held her hand for a bit. Not to long, mom just wanted to sleep. But I know she wanted for me to stay longer and hold her hand. Tonight would of been the night. As my landlord has not even picked up the rent yet. It doesn't matter anyways, mom is first. If she wants me to stay longer tomorrow night, that is just what I will do. I have been around since the first. And he has not been here. I was here today, but he was out of town.
It is mom's birthday on October 12, same day as our Thanks giving. Mom will be 87 years old. What a accomplishment. Well there is longevity in her family, Her father lived until he was 97 and both of his brothers lived until 97 as well. I do hope mom makes it to that age.
I have asked before, I think, but could all of you send a birthday greeting to my mother. It would so nice for her to have birthday greetings from around the world. My email is listed.
So please if you can, send a greeting and a photo of your country. Please pass it on. Mom is 87 years old and it would mean so much to her.
Yes I ask for things, but they were always for myself.
This is for my mother.
I would love to show her photo's of people and/or their countries and wishes from around the world. And please pass this on to other's
Her name is Mary and her Birthday is October 12.
But just in case, here is a dedicated email: mylastnameis@outlook.com
GOD bless and good night
