Hello again
Today was a very busy day. I had many calls to make this morning,then I had to go to the office of Fraser Health. Well the office, is just a corporate office and doesn't deal with people. So they gave me a number to call. The lady at reception was very nice and helpful. She told me who to call and what to ask of them.
This I did, immediately after I walked out of the office. Being a government agency, I had to leave a message. They will get back to me by the end of the next business day. It wasn't until after I left mom's that I had a message. It was them.
I was on the bus when they returned my call, and having a conversation with someone who use to look after mom, many years ago.
I will call in the morning.
It's getting frustrating. This wireless keyboard can't keep up with my typing.
I sent the letter off to the manager and today when I arrived at mom's, she would not even speak with me and she left a completely different way than she usually does.
It was not a rude letter, nor did it have any threats in it. To the point, stating facts.
I have been busy as well, when I got home this evening. Writing more letters and sending them off, with attachments.
I am sorry, I have a plan of attack, but I can't mention it now. Some of them do read this Blog. It is like a poker game. I will not show my cards. But I will let you know as things unfold.
And last night, I got so involved in writing that I needed to make mom dinner twice. The first time, I started it and then came to the computer, for a minute. Lol. We all know a minute turns into several minutes.
I jumped up and ran to the kitchen. Everything was over cooked. So I started over and stayed right there. It turned out well.
I arrived at mom's a little early. So, I thought, I would speak with the manager. Didn't happen. So mom and I went to her room. I gave her something to drink.
Yes, I have been carrying all of mom's drinks back and forth with me, today. It is over 50 lbs that I have on my back. I am carrying an extra 8 different drinks now. Plus what I usually carry. Until I solve this matter I have to continue to do this.
Mom really enjoyed her dinner, She finds it funny, what I am doing. Mom knows what I am doing is for her. She is happy and full of smiles. Squeezing my hand and smiling.
We finished dinner early, since we started early.. We were almost finished when they brought mom's dinner tray.
When done, I got her into bed and started her spa treatment. Then the care aid came in. I was a little upset that it took her until 7 pm to come. But I was able to get mom in bed and give her the spa treatment, before the care aid came in to change her. This worked out well. When she was done, I was able to just spend time holding her hand. Just the way mom likes it.
Then you know the rest. I arrived home and started to write.
